Literature Text

Walking down the street,
a gentle breeze tickiling my face.
Dancing to an invisible beat;
it's just an ordinary day.
A million people have passed by,
I don't notice a single one.
As I stroll down the street
in the sea of faces,
one of them is catching my eye.
Something about him makes me stop,
for some reason I can't stop looking.
For one second our eyes met,
and I realized why I couldn't stop looking.
A smile is spread across his face,
something I wasn't expecting.
Smiles are rare these days,
something that you would give only to certain people.
And just like the song goes;
Its something unpredictable,
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
yeah, i wrote this at camp while listening to my ipod (even though we arnt supposed to have them)

and the song good riddance by green day came on, and this scene kinda popped in my head

also, in the beginning it may seem like a love poem,
but its NOT!!
and with the poem, its short and goes by really fast...but thats how i wrote it....yeah, i need to work on that...
