This is the curse of the wandering mind.
It roams through churches, schools, and like.
Beware! It can get you, any day or night.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
It starts out as simply a doodle or drawing,
But the curse will get you, taking over your day.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
Never completing task, never finishing a project,
This is what that curse thrives on.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
Being a victim myself, I know how it thinks.
It razzes you and dazzles you at just the wrong moment.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
Watch out, it has a few tricks up its sleeve.
Not knowing, not expecting when it’ll strike.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
Windows and boredom are its tools of the trade,
But doors and shoes are useful too.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
There is only one way to vanquish that silly curse.
Simply use an air-horn to blow it to pieces.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.

This is the curse of the wandering mind.
You may have conquered it, but this curse is smart.
Once that air-horn depletes, it takes a new victim.
This is the curse of the wandering mind.
something my friend Charis gave me the idea to...

during church of course XD

that was absolutely incredible.
You explain such a complicated subject SO well! I am amazed at your poetic talent, you are one of the most talented poets i have ever seen.
It seems like a dreadful imposition, but i desperately need someone to criticize my poem. If you have the chance, could you take a look at it?
